Politics & Rants
Oh Snap! Shit Just Got Real Son! Update: 13-02-2013
Hat-Tip Bill Quick at Daily Pundit:
Christopher Jordan Dorner just decided to bring the 4GW home to the LAPD. Three Cops down. Shooter is promising more to come. Of course he is an "evil Tea-Party Radical..." oh shit... er... what we mean to say is that he's a horrible, wicked "Occupy Terrorist..." uh... oh fuck... uhhhhmmmm what we REALLY mean to say is that he's a hard core lefty Democrat, Obama voting, Pro-Assault weapons banning, big government statist.
Well Goddamn... that shit don't fit the narrative, does it? Fear not - the State-media has scrubbed his darling manifesto - which you can read in it's entirety at the Western Rifle Shooters Association.
Now right off, we need to make it perfectly clear that we, here at Deth H.Q., consider this asshole to be nothing more than a mad dog, and we stress that he's fighting his little war for unjustified reasons.
Legitimate revolution is about overthrowing tyranny, fighting for unalienable rights, and purchasing freedom with blood. It is NOT about petty revenge, the settling of scores, or belligerent misdirected anger. Christopher Jordan Dorner is no patriot - he's lashing out over being fired from a fucking job for Chrissakes.
That makes him a murdering hunk of shit in our books.
Disclaimer aside, we can't help but note, (dare we say marvel), at how effectively one man has sent the entirety of the LAPD into shrieking night terrors. If one single loon can cost tens of millions and cower one of the largest Police forces in the entire nation, how in the bloody hell does the Federal Government think it can quell a revolt of thousands to millions of angry patriots? TEN guys like this man would have the entire city of LA paralyzed and inoperative in a matter of days.
This is a perfect illustration of WHY the Government types so badly want people disarmed. One frothing rabid pit-bull has locked down an entire law-enforcement agency. We'd also like to mention that he left a detailed "manifesto" - essentially calling his shots. The patriots, if pushed over over the brink by the overreaches of a power-mad government, will not be so considerate.
Update I: SOOPERMEXICAN Notices a Stink
Soopermexican over at Soopermexican.com noticed that the version of Dorner's manifesto being peddled by the propagandist national media is a bit light on the content side...
"I started noticing that some of the details the media was talking about didn't fit the released manifesto I've read everywhere. Especially interesting, is that KFI's morning news regurgitator Bill Handel had mentioned some pro-Obama comments and anti-NRA sentiments in the manifesto. But these weren't in the copy that KFI themselves released - see for yourself."
- This video from FOX News Los Angeles reports that the manifesto was 22 pages long, while the manifesto released was only 11.
- The page where FOX News LA had the manifesto is now deleted. Comments don't mention the manifesto at all.
- KTLA also has the abbreviated manifesto, with this parenthetical: "KTLA has removed the names of a number of officers out of respect for their privacy."
- FOX News reposted the manifesto, with all the names redacted as the authorities asked, but it still doesn't have the second half.
- ABC 7 has also posted a redacted half version of the manifesto.
"Being curious, I started looking for a complete copy, but other mainstream news media only had the abbreviated copy.
"However, I was able to find a complete copy of the posting, from the website "Crime File News" - the details in it corroborate with the reading that Bill Handel gave on the KFI morning show today.
"So why did they edit it?
"What's the difference between posting 11 rambling pages and 21 rambling pages? Look at what's taken out:
Pro Gun Control:
Who in there right mind needs a fucking silencer!!! who needs a freaking SBR AR15? No one. No more Virginia Tech, Columbine HS, Wisconsin temple, Aurora theatre, Portland malls, Tucson rally, Newtown Sandy Hook. Whether by executive order or thru a bi-partisan congress an assault weapons ban needs to be re-instituted. Period!!!
Mia Farrow said it best. "Gun control is no longer debatable, it's not a conversation, its a moral mandate."
Sen. Feinstein, you are doing the right thing in leading the re-institution of a national AWB. Never again should any public official state that their prayers and thoughts are with the family.
Loves Obama:
You disrespect the office of the POTUS/Presidency and Commander in Chief. You call him Kenyan, mongroid, halfrican, muslim, and FBHO when in essence you are to address him as simply, President. The same as you did to President George W. Bush and all those in the highest ranking position of our land before him. Just as I always have. You question his birth certificate, his educational and professional accomplishments, and his judeo-christian beliefs. You make disparaging remarks about his dead parents. You never questioned the fact that his former opponent, the honorable Senator John McCain, was not born in the CONUS or that Bush had a C average in his undergrad. Electoral Candidates children (Romney) state they want to punch the president in the face during debates with no formal repercussions. No one even questioned the fact that the son just made a criminal threat toward the President. You call his wife a Wookie. Off the record, I love your new bangs, Mrs. Obama.
Fan of Joe Biden:
Mr. Vice President, do your due diligence when formulating a concise and permanent national AWB plan. Future generations of Americans depend on your plan and advisement to the president. I've always been a fan of yours and consider you one of the few genuine and charismatic politicians.
For Hillary 2016:
Hillary Clinton. You'll make one hell of a president in 2016. Much like your husband, Bill, you will be one of the greatest. Look at Castro in San Antonio as a running mate or possible secretary of state. He's (good people) and I have faith and confidence in him. Look after Bill. He was always my favorite President.
Anti-NRA
Wayne LaPierre, President of the NRA, you're a vile and inhumane piece of shit. You never even showed 30 seconds of empathy for the children, teachers, and families of Sandy Hook.
MSNBC, CNN FAN:
Chris Matthews, Joe Scarborough, Pat Harvey, Brian Williams, Soledad Obrien, Wolf Blitzer, Meredith Viera, Tavis Smiley, and Anderson Cooper, keep up the great work and follow Cronkite's lead. I hold many of you in the same regard as Tom Brokaw and the late Peter Jennings. Cooper, stop nagging and berating your guest, they're your (guest). Mr. Scarborough, we met at McGuire's pub in P-cola in 2002 when I was stationed there. It was an honor conversing with you about politics, family, and life.
Willie Geist, you're a talented and charismatic journalist. Stop with all the talk show shenanigans and get back to your core of reporting.
Loves Piers Morgan:
...give Piers Morgan an indefinite resident alien and Visa card. Mr. Morgan, the problem that many American gun owners have with you and your continuous discussion of gun control is that you are not an American citizen and have an accent that is distinct and clarifies that you are a foreigner. I want you to know that I agree with you 100% on enacting stricter firearm laws
Radicalized by Trayvon Martin Propaganda:
Too bad Trayvon didn't smash your skull completely open, Zim.
"He further praised Ellen Degeneres, H.W. Bush, Tim Tebow, and many hollywood actresses. He's obviously disturbed."
"So should MSNBC and Obama be blamed for this murderous scum targeting cops and their families? NO - but if we applied the same standard that the media does conservatives and Republicans, then each of the people on this list contributed to the radicalization of a murderer who has taken 3 lives."

Color us surprised that a white-wash job has been contracted out to the journalistic propaganda wing of the government. Also note that our tendency to resort to hyperbole and sarcasm is a thing of legend.
Update II: LA Cops Panic - Shoot Two Women and Their Truck to Pieces
Hat-Tip Glenn Reynold's at Instapundit and David Codrea at The Examiner.
This is why "ONLY POLICE AND THE ARMY SHOULD HAVE GUNS" you see.... they are trained professionals and shit...
(Mostly "and shit").
"Two women who were shot by Los Angeles police in Torrance early Thursday during a massive manhunt for an ex-LAPD officer were delivering newspapers, sources said.
The women, shot in the 19500 block of Redbeam Avenue, were taken to area hospitals, Torrance police Lt. Devin Chase said. They were not identified. One was shot in the hand and the other in the back, according to Jesse Escochea, who captured video of the victims being treated."
"It was not immediately known what newspapers the women were delivering. After the shooting, the blue pickup was riddled with bullet holes and what appeared to be newspapers lay in the street alongside."

Reynold's adds:"An armed civilian who made this mistake would be tried for every possible crime a prosecutor could imagine. How likely do you think that is here?"
- Glenn Reynolds
Update III: Some Cold Fury
Mike Hendrix at Cold Fury mirrors our skepticism on the media coverage...
"Big fucking surprise: the liberal-media propaganda sanitizing operation has already begun. Mark my words, they'll be referring to him as a Tea Party sympathizer before they're done here. You can bet they're digging like busy little beavers right now trying to find out if he ever said a word in his life that they could pervert into something supporting that assumption."

Update IV: Bob Owens Notes the Blatant Meda Snow-job in Progress
Bob Owens, over at his blog, is also noticing how this growing blizzard of bullshit is being twisted and woven...
"The Dorner manifesto is chilling to behold."
"As Christopher Dorner tells the tale, a good cop turns in a bad cop to internal affairs for beating a suspect in handcuffs, earns the ire of the department for crossing the "thin blue line," sees his career and life destroyed as a result, and goes on a bloody rampage to get to those who have tormented him. The vendetta targets LAPD officers, brass, and their families, and seems to threaten anyone who attempts to help injured officers."
"So far, he has executed the daughter of a former police captain and her fiancee, killed one LAPD officer and has wounded two more (one seriously) as the manhunt widens. He claims to own .50 BMG rifles and even more incredibly claims to have SA-7s, which are first generation man-portable surface-to-air missiles of Russian design."
"The LAPD is freaking out in result to Dorner's rampage and have already shot up two vehicles, with more than 40 rounds fired into one vehicle sending two people to the hospital. Rather obviously, Dorner has one of the largest police forces in the United States reacting rashly and dangerously, and we can only hope that no one is killed by a trigger happy cop firing at ghosts and shadows."
"The only thing more chilling than the Dorner manifesto linked above, is the partial Dorner manifesto (PDF) being misrepresented as a complete document, where his gun-control loving, pro-Hillary, pro-Obama, rants are completely edited out. Yes, like the Occupy terrorists, Floyd Corkins, and Nkosi Thandiwe, Christopher Dorner is another radical left wing terrorist the media is trying hard to cover up for, even as they are forced to cover his crimes."
"It's highly unethical, dishonest, and well, your media folks. They'll cover up whatever they deem fit to protect their narrative."
- Bob Owens

Update V: LAPD Shoots SECOND Blue Truck to Bits
We couldn't help but notice that the LAPD has shot a SECOND vehicle to bits... yes folks... this is one solitary guy... with the way our... ahem... "well trained and professional police officers" are conducting themselves, you'd think that the Chinese had just made landfall with an infantry division...
Hat-tip to Robert Farago at TheTruthAboutGuns:
"Los Angeles and Torrance police were involved in two shootings in Torrance early Thursday when police came across vehicles similar to the one sought by authorities in a massive manhunt for an ex-LAPD officer suspected of shooting three other officers," lablog.latimes.com reports. "Neither incident actually involved the suspect, said Torrance police Lt. Devin Chase. The suspect, Christopher Jordan Dorner, 33, was at large Thursday morning. The first Torrance incident occurred about 5:20 a.m. in the 19500 block of Redbeam Avenue in Torrance, Chase said. That incident involved Los Angeles police detectives from the Hollywood division, sources said. Two people were struck by gunfire and transported to an area hospital with unknown injuries, Chase said. No officers were injured. The second incident which involved Torrance police, occurred at Flagler Lane and Beryl Street about 5:45 a.m. No injuries were reported in that incident."

Oh yes... only the government and law officers are responsible enough to have fucking guns... our ass...
PS: The suspect was last spotted driving a gray Nissan. The trucks that the cops shot up were BLUE TOYOTAS.
Update VI: The Rotties Howl
Update 2/10/13 - We noticed the thread has been removed... apologies for the now dead link. Removing. - The Managment
Update VII: In His Own Words
Courtesy of KTLA 5, an LA TV Station, well... we don't really know how to respond to this...
"I know your TTP's, (techniques, tactics, and procedures). Any threat assessments you generate will be useless. This is simple, I know your TTP's and PPR's. I will mitigate any of your attempts at preservation. ORM is my friend. I will mitigate all risks, threats and hazards. I assure you that Incident Command Posts will be target rich environments. KMA-367 license plate frames are great target indicators and make target selection even easier."
"I will conduct DA operations to destroy, exploit and seize designated targets. If unsuccessful or unable to meet objectives in these initial small-scale offensive actions, I will reassess my BDA and re-attack until objectives are met. I have nothing to lose. My personal casualty means nothing. Just alike AAF's, ACM's, and AIF's, you can not prevail against an enemy combatant who has no fear of death. An enemy who embraces death is a lose, lose situation for their enemy combatants."
"Hopefully you analyst have done your homework. You are aware that I have always been the top shot, highest score, an expert in rifle qualifications in every unit I've been in. I will utilize every bit of small arms training, demolition, ordnance, and survival training I've been given."
"Do you know why we are unsuccessful in asymmetrical and guerrilla warfare in CENTCOM theatre of operations? I'll tell you. It's not the inefficiency of our combatant commanders, planning, readiness or training of troops. Much like the Vietnam war, ACM, AAF, foreign fighters, Jihadist, and JAM have nothing to lose. They embrace death as it is a way of life. I simply don't fear it. I am the walking exigent circumstance you created."
"The Violence of action will be HIGH. I am the reason TAC alert was established. I will bring unconventional and asymmetrical warfare to those in LAPD uniform whether on or off duty. ISR is my strength and your weakness. You will now live the life of the prey. Your RD's and homes away from work will be my AO and battle space. I will utilize every tool within INT collections that I learned from NMITC in Dam Neck. You have misjudged a sleeping giant. There is no conventional threat assessment for me. JAM, New Ba'ath party, 1920 rev BGE, ACM, AAF, AQAP, AQIM and AQIZ have nothing on me. Do not deploy airships or gunships. SA-7 Manpads will be waiting. As you know I also own Barrett .50's so your APC are defunct and futile."
"You better have all your officers radio/phone muster (code 1) on or off duty every hour, on the hour."
"Do not attempt to shadow or conduct any type of ISR on me. I have the inventory listing of all UC vehicles at Piper Tech and the home addresses of any INT analyst at JRIC and detachment locations. My POA is always POI and always true. This will be a war of attrition and a Pyrrhic and Camdean Victory for myself. You may have the resources and manpower but you are reactive and predictable in your op plans and TTP's. I have the strength and benefits of being unpredictable, unconventional, and unforgiving. Do not waste your time with briefs and tabletops."
- Christopher Jordan Dorner
Yeah.... Shit. Just. Got. Real.
This guy is a walking nightmare. And did he just fucking claim to have.... a PAIR of these?
Update VIII: Bob Owens Update - Keystone Coppers
Bob Owens, again at his blog has more updates:
"Californians are waking up this morning to the news that a single man, Christopher Dorner, an angry ex-cop with no special training, is still waging a successful revenge-based one-man war against southern California law enforcement. The only reason they even know who he is is because Dorner decided to out himself through a length manifesto posted online and packages mailed to media figures."
"So far, he's murdered three people, and has injured two more, targeting law enforcement officers and their families. He's put local law enforcement so on edge that they've fired dozens of rounds into vehicles that look similar to the truck Dorner was driving, shooting two innocent women delivering newspapers."
"Dorner will eventually be cut down, but he's managed to become a catalyst for a number of issues in just 24 hours since word of his deeds, which began with the assassination of a former captain's daughter and fiance, became common knowledge.
"He's shed light on and popularized an apparently popular belief among some Californians that the Los Angeles Police Department is a corrupt and criminal enterprise to its core. Dorner has become an anti-hero to some, as words of support for Dorner and hatred of the LAPD flows freely on Twitter and no doubt other social media."
"Dorner's 22-page manifesto—as obviously deranged as much of it is—has struck a nerve with many who are choosing to believe Dormer's claim that he was set upon and destroyed for being a good cop in a bad department. That is extraordinary… and not in a good way."
- Bob Owens

Update IX: Look... A God that Bleeds...
David Codrea at The Examiner makes some interesting points:
"The shooting of two newspaper delivery women illustrates just how jittery the searchers are, and how desperate, when it's obvious the "shoot first"-mentality officers did not see a suspect they could identify and yet opened fire anyway. The hail of bullets left the truck riddled with holes and opens the question of who else was endangered by bullets that missed it or went through it. And this wasn't just a one-time mistake: Trigger-happy Torrance cops reportedly did the same thing to another citizen in different part of town."
"Another incident, this time in San Diego, involved another innocent citizen having his life endangered in what was initially described as a barricade situation, but turned out to be a case of mistaken identity."
"One man has done this, and people are noticing. Aside from an attitude among panicky enforcers that appears to regard public safety as an expendable inconvenience when they perceive a real or imagined threat to themselves, people are noticing how much illusion and presumptions have to do with state power. For many, it is a "Behold, a god who bleeds" moment."
"Those noting it include true enemies, foreign and domestic, who see vulnerabilities and fears to exploit."
"It's also noted by those of us who understand what is fundamentally necessary for the security of a free State, and who view coerced confiscations such as have been proposed in the past and in recent weeks as an ultimatum to surrender our very freedoms or suffer the consequences at the hands of enforcers who are appearing less and less omnipotent. That is unacceptable to people who do not want trouble but have no intention of disarming, and who would view any attempt to force that as an intolerable act to be defied, and ultimately, to be resisted."
- David Codrea

The more we see, the more the government, law enforcement, and their various tentacles look like the "weak horse" in this damn race. Only in the insulated bastions of "Stupidtopia" could they possibly see themselves as an invulnerable Leviathan, both unstoppable and unassailable.
The dangerous thing, is the gentry class, (and their minions), are too blind to SEE the above fact, as it dick-slaps them in the face. This brand of stupidity is the lethal variety - and not just for them. The "white-out," (correcting fluid for the Twitter generation), for these sorts of typos will be the co-mingled blood of tyrants and patriots alike.
Yes - as this lone man is proving, the minions of Sauron are vulnerable, fallible, impotent, and one quarter as intelligent as they imagine themselves to be. Mordor on the Potomac and other statist enclaves have obscured their view of the universe, and clouded their minds to the reality of the situation - THE FACT IS WE SURROUND THEM. WE SURROUND THEIR MINIONS. And they are completely flummoxed by a single lone wolf. The impact of a full "pack" would shake the pillars of heaven.
Maybe if we patriots rattle our tail, scream loudly, and continue to stamp our feet defiantly, the whores and politicians - but we repeat ourselves - will pay feigned reverence to the constitution - if only for the preservation of their miserable careers, or near worthless lives.
As we stated previously, where this gets tragic, (and not Romeo and Juliet tragic - more like "The Scouring of Carthage" tragic), is when the assholes, the charlatans, the self appointed God-Kings, convince themselves they are immune to pit-viper venom and their nigh-impenetrable skin can deflect sharpened fangs.
Snakes quite often are killed after biting defensively. But in the wild, a fully envenomed snake-bite is quite often lethal to the transgressor as well. This has the classic markings of a lose-lose. We see it. Do the politicians?
Update X: More Barking and Growling from the Rottweiler Empire:
LC Light29ID at the Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler has some interesting thoughts on Dorner:
"As of this writing Chris Dorner is alive, upright and walking around still scaring the shit out of cops all over California. They should be. I don't know what set him off; It could have been he had a mother who left him constantly to go be a fuck toy around the globe. Or he could have had a father who was a rutting pig who eventually drank himself to death. Or he could have had grandparents' who were fanatical communists who, when they tired of the little brat, dumped him off on another fanatical communist who also happened to be a murdering child diddler. We don't know."
"All that we do know is that he's insane but not crazy. Crazy would mean he's a drooling moron incapable of operating in a normal world. He ain't all that, but he is insane but so was Hitler and look what he accomplished. Remember, he's one man who has single handily turned professional law enforcement into the Three Stooges. One man."
"Why is this important? Because he's doing what hundreds of thousands, if not millions of us Americans are going to do if/when Obongo The Kenyan Klingon Fucker™ goes full tilt dictator."
- LC Light29ID
Read the entire thing HERE.
As we read the post, we found ourselves agreeing with LC Light29ID's premise pretty handily. After all, his ideals seem to mirror our observations and beliefs - and nothing makes us feel better about prognostications we've made than other fellows in our particular echo-chamber coming to the same conclusions.
Then we skimmed the comments... and things got rather interesting...
A poster wonders if Dorner is running a bit of a psy-op as he scurries around tearing shit asunder:
"When you compare the part of Dorner's manifesto where he is discussing tactics and logistics… it's a huge shift in tone from where he is fawning over Juggears and Piers Morgan. So… I ask this..."
"Let's say you were an honest cop… and a highly intelligent, military trained Operator, who had his life unjustifiably destroyed by crooked cops, whilw watching your country turn into a statistic hell, and, no longer being able to tolerate the shit one second longer, decided NOW was the time to re-enact first blood."
"Would you dump your cherished copies of "Ameritopia, Liberty and Tyranny, Righteous Indignation, and the Thomas Sowell Reader" in the back of your car, drape yourself in a Gadsden Flag, and commence with Revolution 2.0?"
"Or, being a highly intelligent special operations officer, would you instead, in what could only be described as "mood-whiplash" append your "declaration of intent" with a fawning swan-song extolling the virtues of, and hitching your wagon to, the people you hate the most?"
- HempRopeAndStreetlight

Hrm... now that's something we'd never thought of. To this point we've been considering him a bit of a rabid-mutt. It certainly makes one ponder a bit - would a bright Spec Op. guy want to slime the people he truly supports?
Update XI: Fun-time With Photoshop
Presented without further commentary:
Ok... so we lied... there was some commentary. Sue us. (Actually don't, our lawyer is a real nasty cat, and he's been terribly bored lately. Don't make him angry - you wouldn't like him when he's angry. In point of fact, you wouldn't like him when he's happy either. Especially not when he's happy...)
Update XII: Hot Air Wondering Why Dorner is Becoming a Modern Day Jesse James.
Jazz Shaw over at Hot Air is befuddled as to why Dorner is fast becoming a modern recreation of the lionized 1870's outlaws.
Well Jazz... while we can't be 100% certain, we have our suspicions...
...courtesy of the LA Times:
"David Perdue was on his way to sneak in some surfing before work Thursday morning when police flagged him down. They asked who he was and where he was headed, then sent him on his way."
"Seconds later, Perdue's attorney said, a Torrance police cruiser slammed into his pickup and officers opened fire; none of the bullets struck Perdue."
"His pickup, police later explained, matched the description of the one belonging to Christopher Jordan Dorner — the ex-cop who has evaded authorities after allegedly killing three and wounding two more. But the pickups were different makes and colors. And Perdue looks nothing like Dorner: He's several inches shorter and about a hundred pounds lighter. And Perdue is white; Dorner is black."

When the police behave like stormtroopers... don't be too startled when the serfs cheer for the fella stomping a mud-hole in the cop's chest... even if said person is also a monster...
Aliens V.S. Predator? Freddy V.S. Jason? Stalin V.S. Hitler?
You get the idea.
Update XIII: Insightful Hot Air Post
While uncommon, you will occasionally grab some small nuggets of wisdom from Hot Air. Like this one from harlkwin15:
1) If a civilian decides to play "spray and pray" because their buddy "warns them" on a cell phone at random he does not get a "30 to 75 shot get out of jail free card."
2) The police bulletstormed 2 separate vehicles as an area LE set, without threat assessment, or IDing themselves... I cannot believe that that is not intentional."
"If LAPD gets to play judge, jury, and executioner, what precisely is the moral argument that an ex-infantryman, who is if nothing else, a better shooter than the LE guys, cannot play the same game in their neighborhoods with drug dealers or other felons?"
"Dorner is using red team psychology from FM 3-24 to force CA LE to destroy its moral case for deference, trust, and aid with the people of the greater LA area..."
"He is way inside their OODA loop and I am NOT thrilled about it, but unless and until LAPD accepts that they need precise, ruthless application of force within a narrow window, and should attempt to meet the moral duty to follow the law, they will keep undermining their ability to perform LE duties later."
"This is bad."
- harlekwin15
The poster is right: Dorner is using the police to destroy the police. As the LAPD continues "bulletstorming" (Thanks Harle, we are unapologetically stealing that term, and forever adding it to our lexicon), kicking in doors, and shooting innocents, they loose what little public support they had left. Before long, like frontier outlaws of yor, Christopher Lee Dorner will have an unending supply of safe-houses and sympathizers helping him perpetrate his terror reign.
Good job LAPD. You clowns blast up a few more civilians and you will have transformed Dorner into a full-fledged fucking folk-hero. Stupids.
Update XIV: Bill Quick - Nobody Believes Cops Are Your Friends - And Haven't For A Hell of a Long Time
Bill Quick, at Daily Pundit pretty much lays out the truth regarding Police in America:
"I can't think of anybody who looks forward to any interaction with the police whatsoever. The only people who like and trust cops are those who never have any contacts with them."
"There is a vast reservoir of dislike, even hatred out there for the American policing authorities. "Serve and protect" is a bad joke, since in the real world, they seem to do neither."
- Bill Quick
Read the entire thing and comments HERE.
Pretty much nails it. The worse the cops behave, the more isolated an ineffective they become. End game? Mexico. Argentina.
Update XV: Denninger - Pay Attention America, The Fourth Reich Is Shooting People!
Our second-favorite wall-banger Karl Denninger at The Market Ticker lays into the LAPD with a fury typically reserved for child-molesters and mass murders - and we LOVE every second of it:
"Ok, so far we have a cop who has decided that the law doesn't work and therefore he's not going to put up with it. That's a (big) problem."
"I'll assume for now that the alleged perp is utterly insane and has no reason for what he's doing, other than deciding in a mentally-ill state that he wants to kill people. I'm taking this position only for the purpose of debate, as it is the most-favorable toward the LAPD and other agencies involved. If I'm wrong in that assumption then everything I write below is far worse."
"Now let's look at what has happened as a consequence:"
Two women who were shot by Los Angeles police in Torrance early Thursday during a massive manhunt for an ex-LAPD officer were delivering newspapers, sources said.
The women, shot in the 19500 block of Redbeam Avenue, were taken to area hospitals, Torrance police Lt. Devin Chase said. They were not identified. One was shot in the hand and the other in the back, according to Jesse Escochea, who captured video of the victims being treated.
It was not immediately known what newspapers the women were delivering. After the shooting, the blue pickup was riddled with bullet holes and what appeared to be newspapers lay in the street alongside.
"Now the cops are committing attempted murder."
"Nor is this the only incident -- a second vehicle was also shot up but nobody inside was hit. That's felonious assault with a deadly weapon."
"The alleged "offense"? The vehicles looked similar to that owned by the suspect."
"The cops claim?"
Beck detailed Dorner's alleged crimes in an unusual press conference in an underground room at police headquarters, where extra security was deployed. The chief said there had been a "night of extreme tragedy in the Los Angeles area" and that all measures were being implemented to ensure officer safety"This includes shooting anyone who is in a vehicle that vaguely resembles the alleged perpetrator's, even if the occupants are of the wrong gender and delivering newspapers."
"Sorry folks but that act is, without question, felonious; you do not fire without a positively-identified lawful target and two women do not look like an ex-officer man."
"The LAPD has proved beyond any reasonable doubt through their own actions that they will assault and attempt to kill people without lawful cause or purpose and that they are manifestly unfit to be called "law enforcement officers."
"Now consider this -- there are now two innocent people who were not in any way involved, nor were they driving his vehicle, nor were they of the same gender as the alleged perpetrator, that were shot by trigger-happy cops who are apparently shooting at anything that moves and vaguely reminds them of the person they are seeking."
"These are not the actions of reasonable, level-headed law enforcement -- they are the actions of cornered rabid animals who are incapable of reason and judgment. These people are acting as feral apes, not humans."
"And yet they are the very same people who allege that you should trust them to keep you safe and who insist that you don't need full-capacity magazines and weapons suitable for your own self-defense -- against all murderous assailants including them."
"If you believe them you're going to get shot by criminals in blue. We are merely debating time and place, not outcome."
"And this is all because one person decided to "declare war" on the police."
"Now consider what happens if they actually try to come take guns, and just a few dozen decide they're not going to comply in a given area. Multiply the number of innocent civilians shot by hundreds and consider how many more so-called "vigilantes" will be created by those very jackasses-in-blue shooting people without cause -- and getting away with it without themselves being arrested, indicted, tried and imprisoned."
"This is how the nation descends into a "dirty, unconventional civil war" folks. It happens when the so-called "law enforcement" people do what a handful of NOLA cops did after Katrina, where they shot an unarmed man and then planted a gun on him."
"But those cops were (eventually) brought up on charges and tried for their felonies."
"There is utterly no indication that the LAPD officers involved in this will face any sanction whatsoever."
"It is exactly this rabbit hole that I have repeatedly warned of -- when the so-called "law enforcers" are free to break the law without punishment, whether it be through "gun-walking", money laundering or blatantly assaulting and killing innocent people (as, you remember, occurred in Detroit) there comes a point where the people will not only refuse to assist but will turn on the government and its visible agents and edifices along with the infrastructure that it, and we all, depend."

Update XVI: Another LAPD Visual Aid
CharlieDelta at gottagetdrunkfirst has this to say:
"LAPD Visual Aid May Explain Shooting Of Innocents - In case you hadn't already heard, the LAPD is shooting innocent people in their "hunt" for the other L.A. cop that's shooting innocent people. If you drive any type of truck, in any color, you might want to stay out of the Los Angeles area until this circus is over with. The LAPD has deployed visual aids to all of their officers hoping to stop him before he kills any more innocents."

Update XVII: In the Air... it's a Bird... it's a Plane... Oh Shit, it's a Fucking Reaper...
Tyler Durden of Zero Hedge notes that Imperial Forces are preparing to deploy "ze drones on ze terrorist" as this continually growing shit-ball rolls down Mt. Shit. In a shit-blizzard. On it's way to the shit-hits-the-fan-con 2013.
"We were hoping to evade coverage of the latest mass distraction du jour, that of the former LAPD officer Chris Dorner who recently went rogue following a three man murder spree and who has vowed to kill again as per his 6,000 word manifesto, but the US government had made it impossible following confirmation that the search for Dorner is now the first official drone-hunt in US history."
The Express reports: Yesterday, as a task force of 125 officers, some riding Snowcats in the rugged terrain, continued their search, it was revealed that Dorner has become the first human target for remotely-controlled airborne drones on US soil.
A senior police source said: "The thermal imaging cameras the drones use may be our only hope of finding him. On the ground, it's like looking for a needle in a haystack."
Asked directly if drones have already been deployed, Riverside Police Chief Sergio Diaz, who is jointly leading the task force, said: "We are using all the tools at our disposal."
"The use of drones was later confirmed by Customs and Border Patrol spokesman Ralph DeSio, who revealed agents have been prepared for Dorner to make a dash for the Mexican border since his rampage began."
He said: "This agency has been at the forefront of domestic use of drones by law enforcement. That's all I can say at the moment."
"And once Dorner is found by remote-control, it will be again up to drones to secure his "elimination." If for no other reason than to perform a ground test of just how the recently enacted drone-facilitated extermination of US citizens sits with various instances of the US judicial system."
- Tyler Durden

Update XVIII: Bob Owens - Ex-cop Dorner becomes target of in-country drones?
Bob Owens at his blog considers a drone-kill of Chris Dorner to be a watershed-moment for our society:
"Via SayUncle, the Border Patrol: confirms that murderous ex-LAPD officer Christopher Dorner is being targeted by drones..."
"What is less clear is what they mean by "targeted." If the spokesman inelegantly meant that authorities are simply searching for Dorner with drones, that is hardly a first in American law enforcement, though it might be the most high-profile case."
"If, however, they are looking to terminate him with a bomb or missile from an armed drone, then we have crossed a Rubicon in this nation, where the government assumes it can kill American citizens ,at a distance on a whim, without due process. If that is the case, it merely escalates the possibility of an armed conflict breaking out between the would-be elites of the polimedia and those Americans who would remain free."
- Bob Owens

We suppose you could call a "hellfire-hello" from an Arial Terminator Drone a "watershed moment." We might also suppose an extra-judicial killing of a United States citizen, (on American soil no less), could be fantastic point for patriots to consider watering the tree of liberty with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Lots of hard questions to ponder.
The ham-fisted, jack-boot clad, dumb FUCKS at the LAPD have already elevated Dorner to the status of local legend through blind thuggery and wanton CRIMINAL disregard for the safety of the citizens they allegedly protect. Drone-kill his ass and he'll be a Goddamned glorified martyr. Last "martyr" the knuckle-draggers at the LAPD created ended convincing the citizenry to burn down half the blasted city.
This time, as LA smolders, the gang-bangers will be following, adapting, and trying to top Dorner's example - and really, after watching what the miserable Police failures have done thus far, We can't say we'd feel much sympathy. Shit-weasels wanted to wage asymmetrical war on the people?
Well... Payback is a real bitch when the other shoe drops. This really is a classic case of Evil eating it's own tail - and the Midgard serpent is just getting warmed up.
But we are not entirely heartless - Our prayers and thoughts go to the good people trapped in that shitpile who don't in any way deserve what's coming. Be good chaps, and head over to Bill Quick's Website, and drop some loose change in his tip jar - so he can afford to flee that pisshole state and come join the Rotties in Texas. (It's too cold for him in our neck-o-the-woods, though we'd take him in a heartbeat).
Update XIX: Tyler Durden - Meanwhile In Los Angeles...
Tyler Durden of Zero Hedge wishes the following photo was a joke:
Read the rest and the commentary HERE.
In normal times, we'd chuckle at this fellow's snide wit and social commentary at the expense of goonish authority figures. Sadly, when your local execution squads constabulary can't be bothered to confirm a target is even the same SEX as Chris L. Dorner before bulletstorming their not-even-remotely-similar-vehicle, what was once snark has become a SURVIVAL TACTIC.
As Mark Levin tried to warn us all - welcome to Ameritopia.
Update XX: Bill Quick - Is Violent Resistance to Tyranny Insane?
Bill Quick at Daily Pundit helps Popehat sort through his conundrum:
"Legal minds - and Ken is a lawyer - are having a huge problem with the Dorner case. It is the knee-jerk reaction of lawyers that everything must conform to the law. We are, after all, a nation of laws, not men, and to behave otherwise is to invite, nay, guarantee barbarous anarchy."
"And yet, and yet..."
"What if the law itself has become perverted to the purposes of tyranny, in such a way that citizens can almost never obtain redress for crimes committed against them by the tyrants and their representatives? What if the law has become an enabler of tyranny rather than a bulwark against it?"
"Uncomfortably, we try not to look back to the founding of our nation, and the fact that, according to the British law of the land at the time, every one of our Founding Fathers were murderous madmen acting entirely in defiance of the law. Patriots committed atrocities against those representatives and supporters of British law whom they considered to be enemies and tyrants, and vice versa. And yet we don't consider them insane."
- Bill Quick
Read the entire argument HERE.
It's interesting that Mr. Quick brings this up - we've had a bit of a riff with our resident lawyer/veteran/III'per/uncle on the internals over this very topic.
Counselors have a difficult time coping with a system in the process of crashing down. Even those open-minded to the "general concept" of 4GW and patriotic civil unrest. Counselors are by nature, very structured beings, learned in writ and regulation, who by and large will try to prop the collapsing pillars society until it is absolutely certain that nothing can save it.
Even in the face of ruin, many will go down with the ship - to quote our resident legal-beagle: "What is the state of life or humanity if we abandon law? Would it, perhaps, be nothing less than the final, spectacular breakdown of the civil society? I ask what remains of life, what comes after the part where we tear our culture up by it's roots?"
Well sir... we'll let someone else speak for us with regards to "life" and "humanity" absent laws...
"...solitary, poor, nasty, brutish and short."
- Thomas Hobbes
Still... it's better than living as a serf. In some of our opinions anyways.
PS: Don't get pissed at us for making an example out of you! It's William T. Quick's fault!
Update XXI: Close Examination of Dorner's Twin Manifestos
Hat-tip to Simon over at Classical Values.
Remember when the Reporters and Journalists used to do investigative stuff? You know, in the days of lore, before the White-house Spokes-idiot issued the State Approved Talking Points for the day? We do. So does J. Croft of Freedom Guide, who has taken the time to really pick apart both versions of Dorner's call to arms.
"Christopher Dorner, former LAPD police officer and naval intelligence officer started a one-man war against law enforcement, killing three police officers in two ambushes. The response from the US government has been nigh-short of nuclear; California and Nevada as of this writing have made engaging… not apprehending, engaging and ending Dorner as a threat their sole priority. They're so torque about him that they've shot four innocent people so far."
"Originally, I had gone along with a few prominent pro-Second Amendment writers that this was a cop who basically went nuts; he had apparently made a lot of anti-Second Amendment statements, and supported the ruling elite, almost as an add on. A bit later I was on the Liberty Tree Radio chatroom and got a link to scribd.com that had a different version, that didn't have the anti-gun, pro-Clinton/Biden statements."
"There's TWO versions of his manifesto:"
"The one which he not only calls for gun control but gives high praise for a number of high level dirtbags."
"And this shorter one which, doesn't.""Therefore I'm doing a line by line analysis of Dorner's manifesto."
- J. Croft

Update XXII: Saga to End Soon?
Good thing too - this keeps up much longer and the page formatting will break.
From the Washington Times:
"Authorities are in a standoff Tuesday with a former Los Angeles police officer sought in three killings who has barricaded himself in the San Bernardino Mountains after a gunfight with police.
"Someone believed to be Christopher Dorner broke into a cabin in Big Bear, Calif., and tied up an elderly couple inside, authorities said. One was able to get away and make a call to authorities."
"San Bernardino County sheriff's spokeswoman Jodi Miller said a stolen vehicle report from a residence was received at 12:20 p.m."
"Police responded to the cabin and gave chase once the suspect fled in the stolen white pickup truck. Gunfire was reportedly exchanged, during which two San Bernardino Sheriff deputies were shot, CBS Los Angeles reported. The extent of their injuries is unknown."
"The suspect barricaded himself inside another nearby cabin and is now in a standoff with police."

Update XXIII: Summary Execution by Fire - Your Police in Action America
It seems that the whole "accidental fire" narrative does not jive with the police chatter. Courtesy of Bob Owens we noticed THIS:
"Listening to the police scanners, is seemed rather obvious to me that the fire was intentionally set by authorities..."
- Bob Owens
Read the entire thing HERE.
We consider Bob Owens to be first and foremost a patriot, speaking truth to power. That aside, we cannot disagree more with his opinion on how this fiasco ended. When the founders said "innocent until proven guilty by a jury of one's peers" we doubt they really meant "summary execution by fire."
Dorner was contained at the point the LAPD decided to spit and roast him. If he came out shooting, or shot from the windows, then he's fair game. Sitting in the cabin, and getting BBQ'ed? Not so much. Twas a revenge killing.
There's a very specific term for deliberately setting fire to a structure when someone is trapped inside. It's called murder.
Update XXIV: Chris Dorner Saga Post-mortem - From the Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler
Poster HempRopeAndStreetlight over at the Anti-idiotarian Rottweiler wraps this whole thing up, about as well as anybody can.
"I think everyone knew how this would end. This is a classic case of evil on wicked. The Ouroboros."
"More importantly, what this does is utterly shatter any illusions of infallibility and invulnerability enjoyed and propagated by some very corrupt enforcers, and the federal government who feeds them. The cops behaved just as wretchedly as Dorner - the only difference, as far as I am concerned, is they were significantly worse shots."
"When you look at the resources one guy consumed, it becomes patently fucking clear how utterly screwed the tyrants and their thugs are if they get uppity - so long as we the people hold into our weapons. Chris Dorner inflicted unsustainable damage, and consider this... he called his shots. A squad or even multiple lone wolves would have turned LA into a riot-zone in short order, and they'd be helped along at every step by police overreactions."
"You better believe there is a hell of a lot to learn from all of this. That fact does not make Dorner virtuous, or anything beyond a murdering shitbag, still, it contains a great many lessons with regards to how our self appointed masters - and their enforcers - react when "shit-gets-real.""What we can take away from all of this:"
"1: Public order goes right out the window when the thugs are in danger - they will abandon any pretense of safeguarding society, and concoct a horseshit, fabricated narrative afterwards to cover their ass."
"2: Your constitutional rights are shit, and will be trampled on without a moment of hesitation, remorse, or afterthought on the part of the enforcers. What the fuck do they care if the city get sued for four million Bernanke-bucks?"
"3: Human life and your property mean shit to them - the goons will ice anything that spooks'em, and not care. They will sleep like lambs after shooting Jane-six-pack, kicking in doors, ransacking a place, or riddling random trucks with enough copper jacketed Gold Dot to re-surface the statue of liberty."
"4: Scare them enough, and they'll turn the people against'em with their overreaches, brutality, and flagrant disregard for anything that's not a card carrying member of their publicly-sanctioned street gang. The idiot cops damn near succeeded in turning a murderer into a local celebrity, and it was entirely due to their jack-boot-thug-like behavior."
"5: Frighten the bouncers enough, and they will throw all that happy horse-shit about "trials" and "upholding the law" right out the window. They'll appoint themselves judge, jury, and executioner. Everybody knew Dorner was coming back in a black bag no matter what."
"6: The stormtroopers see themselves as above the "public" they are supposed to protect. Not as a piece of, or an integral cog, but as superior to other components. This narcissism allows them to justify destroying property, shooting innocents, and pissing all over the same laws they'd throw your ass in a cage for breaking."
"Yeah. Lots to learn here. Hitler taught us a lot too. That don't mean I "liked him," or "supported his evil. It just means what the monster did was something that a wise person learns something from."
"He's [Dormer] crushed whatever shreds of credibility and legitimacy the LAPD had left."
"No. Let me rephrase that. He gave them enough rope to hang themselves. And they gleefully did, one wounded innocent, one blasted up truck, and one kicked-in door at a time. Christopher Lee Dorner proved that if you rattle the LA Police up, they are no better than him, and in doing so he destroyed their moral authority completely."
"He pulled a Joker-gambit on them. And it worked."
"The damage done by this one man was catastrophic, and worse, he scared the LAPD so badly they completely forsook any pretense of protecting the public, and made it perfectly clear that Dorner's bad apple didn't fall very far from the rotten tree."
"Rot begets rot, and it was the innocents that suffered most from this."
- HempRopeAndStreetlight
Read the entire thread HERE.
The ashes are smoldering, the cops are still fist-bumping one another, and the state-news operatives will soon be descending on the local like a host of ravenous locusts. It's safe to say that nobody here is surprised by how this ended. And (sadly), nobody here is surprised by how the police behaved.
Fuck Dorner. Fuck our idiot-ball wielding media. And fuck the police too. They all deserve each other. Goddamn shame they can't manage to cage-fight themselves into oblivion without enough collateral damage to recreate "The Road Warrior."
'Nuff Said.
