Baldur's Gate
Watcher's Keep
The Watcher's Keep is a giant citadel created by the god Helm to imprison the demon price Demogorgon. It is unique in that it serves as the only place that exists in both Shadows of Ahm and Throne of Baal. As such, it becomes an ideal place to stash equipment and valuables for the transition to the final chapter of Baldur's Gate.
A special note note on Yoshimo - if asked to disband in the Watcher's Keep, he will vanish forever. (Technically he goes to the Copper Coronet, which you can't reach). However, if asked to wait outside, he'll be nonchalantly loitering around the where the party left him.
Exterior:
The Watcher's Keep is a giant, mufti-floored fortress far South of Ahm. It may only be entered with a special ward-stone, and each level beyond the first is sealed with increasingly lethal traps and puzzles - and populated with a host of angry monsters, devils, demons, dragons, and worse. Outside, NPC Helmites and merchants offer a wide selection of potions, and helpful advice for those brave enough to explore the deeper levels.
Floorplan: Floor 1
Floor 1: Amenities
The first floor has been fully secured - all monsters and traps have been cleared. A host of friendly Henchmen from BG I & BG II are ready to join the party, and have taken positions around the keep awaiting player recruitment. Additionally, all of the equipment from Baldurs Gate, Tales of the Sword Coast, and Shadows of Ahm has been carefully collected, sorted, and placed in the Armory. The library has been stocked with every known book and tomb found on the Sword Coast, as well as a selection of useful Priest and Wizard scrolls. Finally, Cespenar and an Innkeep have relocated to entry-way of Watcher's Keep, providing a full range of services and amenities to weary adventurers.
Floor 1: NPCs
Every notable NPC from Baldur's Gate and Baldur's Gate II has relocated to the Watcher's Keep, and is ready to join your party. Be cautious of casually discarding some NPC's - they won't take it very well, and just might leave forever! Each NPC has reached Epic Levels, and has a decent selection of spells and equipment.
Khalid Note: The only original Baldur's Gate NPC unavailable is Khalid. Since the PC is currently involved in an intimate relationship with a certain Half-Elven Druid - and she requested her husband remain dead - it would have been... extremely poor form to "resurrect" him.
