MAME Arcade Cabinet
In 2007, several of us at work decided to pool our knowledge and build an Arcade Cabinet. We selected a sit-down model, and got to work. One person handled all of the art work, loading screens, large format labels and game selection menus, another worked on the carpentry and wiring, while a third sorted out the MAME software and acquired ROMS. We made two cabinets all together, and they are, in a word, badass.
We wanted a legit arcade experience, so we used only the best arcade components - a real CRT made specifically for arcade cabinets, pro-fighting sticks and the best quality buttons and internal components on the market. No cheap parts. The entire project ran well north of $8,000.00 - and it was worth every penny.
Capable of playing thousands of Arcade, NES, SNES, Master System, Genisis, Atari, Game Boy and Game Boy Advanced titles, the Mame Cabinet is a one stop-shop for retro-gaming.
